A personal compilation of songs by composer Steve Beresford and lyricist Andrew Brenner. Over a 10-year period this couple produced classic songs in the tradition of Tin Pan Alley or the later Brill Building. Most of them were released on Jean Rochard’s French label nato or its subsidiary chabada.

Ich hatte immer gehofft über diese Phase von Steve Beresford vor allem bei NATO-Records mal eine Radiosendung (am besten von Karl L.) hören zu können; – dieser Wunsch wurde mir leider nicht erfüllt. Umso mehr freue ich mich über diese tolle Zusammenstellung von Lucky, der diese umwerfend charmanten Songinterpretationen hier zusammengestellt hat. Viele der Songs habe ich selber „nur“ als LP. Besten Dank! und Gute Besserung für Steve B.
