„Sephardische Tradition Reloaded“
Nach der sogenannten Wiedereroberung Spaniens durch die Christen Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts mussten Spaniens Juden, die Sepharden, fliehen – nach Nordafrika, Mitteleuropa und Griechenland. Im Exil bewahrten sie über Jahrhunderte hinweg ihr Liedgut und ihre Sprache Ladino – kulturelle Wurzeln, die heute von Sängerinnen wie Liona Hotta, Mor Karbasi und Yasmin Levy wiederbelebt werden.
