Late Junction: Spirited free jazz and Nordic sea flutes
Verity Sharp präsentiert ihre Auswahl neuer und gewagter Klänge von Musikern aus dem Leftfield. Auf dem Programm stehen fröhliche und temperamentvolle Free-Jazz-Improvisationen, die live in Großbritannien von Pat Thomas und XT aufgenommen wurden, sowie ein ausgelassenes Stück für Meeresflöte und Geige aus Oslo.
Außerdem präsentiert der japanische Musiker Akhira Sano räumliche Klänge, die er im bald abzureißenden Haus seiner Großeltern aufgenommen hat. Dazu kommt ein fast dystopischer Song von Alphabetical Four, deren kühner Sound der 1930er Jahre Gospel- und Jubilee-Traditionen mit Blues und Jazz verbindet.
