Jazzfest Berlin 1984: „Piano und Klarinetten“ Enrico Pieranunzi Trio + Hamiet Bluiett and the Clarinet Family
Der italienische Pianist Enrico Pieranunzi ist heute mit dem zweiten Teil seines Trio-Konzertes beim Jazzfest Berlin 1984 zu hören. Hamiet Bluiett war eine der Triebkräfte der amerikanischen Jazz-Avantgarde.
Schon 1968 gehörte er in St. Louis zu den Mitbegründern der Künstlerkooperative „Black Artist Group“, 1976 zur ersten Besetzung des wegweisenden „World Saxophone Quartet“. Sein erstes Instrument war die Klarinette. Zum Jazzfest Berlin kam er gleich mit einer ganzen „Clarinet Family“. Acht Klarinettisten loteten im Zusammenspiel mit einem Bassisten und einem Schlagzeuger das Klangspektrum des Instrumentes zwischen Soprano- und Contra-Bass-Klarinette aus.
