Late Junction: Almost waking
Während sich Berlin auf „The Infinite Now“ vorbereitet – ein zweitägiges Gemeinschaftsfestival von Atonal und Unsound –, stellt Verity Sharp Musik von einigen der spannendsten experimentellen Acts des Programms vor, darunter Joy Guidry, Aleksandra Słyż und Keiji Haino.
Das Festival umfasst dreißig Stunden ununterbrochenes Programm – eine Reise durch Dämmerung, Nacht, Morgengrauen, Tag und eine zweite Dämmerung – und lädt das Publikum dazu ein, zu schlafen, sich auszuruhen und zu essen sowie der Musik zu lauschen, während sie sich entfaltet. Inspiriert von dieser nächtlichen Odyssee wählt Verity einige Songs für ein raues und sanftes Erwachen sowie Klänge für die frühen Morgenstunden aus.
