His new album Live in Paris is a bold statement by Elliot Galvin. Solo, entirely improvised and recorded live. At the BIMHUIS he will perform solo as well. The British pianist has previously performed here with Dinosaur and with his own trio, in which he combines piano, keyboards and toy instruments in catchy songs. ‘Galvin can make the piano do anything for him and it always seems to have a quirky twist or kink in it’ (London Jazz News).
