… Ein angejahrter Song in einer reinen Instrumentalversion, von einer Jazzband live im Jazzclub aufgenommen, mit Improvisation! Und es blieb nicht bei dem einen Stück. Auf „Something You Got“ folgte „The ‚In‘ Crowd“, dann kamen „Hang On Sloopy“ und „A Hard Day’s Night“. Das Trio um den Pianisten Ramsey Lewis hatte zufällig ein Hit-Rezept entdeckt. Die Kehrseite der Medaille: Über dem Erfolg zerbrach 1966 die langjährige Freundschaft der drei Musiker.
