Jennifer Lucy Allan presents your weekly dose of adventurous explorations in sound. There’ll be sweet strings and electronics from Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe’s new Candyman soundtrack, the glowing ghostly sounds of New Zealand songwriter Maxine Funke and ecclesiastical improvisations from Liverpool duo Land Trance.
Plus Japanese noise rock from the vaults courtesy of the mysterious Les Rallizes Dénudés, as well as a spiritual collaboration between sound artist Ka Baird and the late Finnish composer Pekka Airaksinen, inspired by a collection of Buddhist parables.
