BR Klassik: Zum Tod des Jazzpianisten Abdullah Ibrahim
Mit Ulrich Habersetzer (BR-Klassik). „Meine Heimat ist die Menschheit“ – Der Pianist Abdullah Ibrahim, bekannt geworden als Dollar Brand, war einer der bekanntesten Musiker aus Afrika.
Eines seiner Stücke wurde zur Hymne der Anti-Apartheit-Bewegung. 1994 spielte er bei der Amtseinführung Nelson Mandelas, nun ist der Musiker im Alter von 91 Jahren gestorben.
