NO TONGUES is one of the most extraordinary and original young groups around – the musicians are inspired by archaic hollers, summoning shouts and incantations. They transpose those into mighty raw, rhythmically sharp-edged instrumental sounds.

The wander along musical echoes of pagan shamanism vocal conjurations, to tap into and merge with ancient everyday voodoo practices. They work in an integer and inspiring way among others on the vocals of a French peasant spurring his oxen in plowing and on the playful throat-singing voices of two Inuit women – @FoBo
