Die Schwerpunkte: Der Pianist und Sänger Mose Allison (1927-2016) // Das „Siwan“-Projekt des Norwegers Jon Balke // Zwei neue Ausgrabungen: Das Bill Evans Trio in Buenos Aires 1973 und 1979.

Mose Allison kam Ende der 20er-Jahre am Rande des Mississippi-Deltas auf der Farm seines Großvaters zur Welt, als Weißer in einer vorwiegend schwarzen Nachbarschaft. Er wuchs auf mit Blues von den Feldern und Nat King Cole im Radio. Seine Anglistik-Studien und die Liebe zu Bartók verfeinerten seine Talente als Songschreiber. Blues-inspiriert und mit sehr individuellem Duktus wurde Allison ein musikalischer Berater in allen Lebenslagen. The Beatles und The Rolling Stones zählten zu seinen Fans, The Who hatten seinen „Young Man Blues“ im Repertoire und für Van Morrison war er wie ein Guru. Als Pianist verehrte Allison besonders Thelonious Monk und meinte, „Singen ist ein Handwerk, Spielen ist eine Kunst“. Seine erste Platte, „Back Country Suite“ von 1957, wurde zum Grundstein eines faszinierenden Oeuvres. In der „Radionacht” gibt es eine Retrospektive dieses großen Charakterdarstellers im Jazz.
