„Art of the Duo“ Live at Bimhuis 20.09.2018 / ODE TO WOMEN – NEWLANDS FESTIVAL 2018

This evening they will appear as a duo for the very first time, performing a number of specially arranged compositions for this concert (by Mohamad Abdel Wahab, among others) from the classical Arabic tradition. The exciting line-up indicates that Rima Khcheich and Maarten Ornstein do not fear the unknown or the experiment and that they strive for ultimate beauty.

The audience is invited to travel from Lebanon and The Netherlands to Paris and Teheran. Paris is the current home of Sara Hamidi. During NewLands Sara will appear on stage in an intimate dialogue with Mehdi Rostami, an internationally renowned setar player.
